Corporate Support on KHKE/KUNI
Your business can benefit from
supporting public radio!
Over 100 businesses, organizations and institutions benefit from underwriting on
KUNI and/or KHKE. Not only do they receive on-air acknowledgement for their support of
public radio, but they are visible on our Underwriters
page. Premiere underwriters are also eligible for our spotlight feature on
the KUNI or
KHKE home pages.
KUNI - Unique Programming
KUNI's program schedule includes a wide variety of music: classical, folk,
blues, rhythm and blues, progressive rock, new age and world music - music not likely to
be heard elsewhere, especially on just one station. To this music variety KUNI adds
award-winning National Public Radio news programs and specialty programs of Public
Radio International.
The result is a public radio station which serves many audiences throughout a large
coverage area.
KUNI - Unique Coverage
KUNI serves most of eastern Iowa with its main signal at 90.9 FM. It also serves
Des Moines at 101.7 FM, Dubuque at 98.7 FM, the Quad Cities at 94.5 FM and Eldridge at
102.1 FM. In north central Iowa, hear KUNI programming at 91.5 FM (via KUNY-Mason City),
and in northern Iowa and southern Minnesota, we're heard at 1010 AM (via KRNI-Mason City).
Visit our KUNI Coverage Map.
KUNI - A Unique Audience
KUNI's audience is "upscale." The listeners are
"well-linked": well-educated, well-incomed and well-informed. On the whole, KUNI's audience is socially conscious,
community active and fitness/wellness oriented. It is comprised of business leaders and
decision makers, educators, and professionals - people who believe public radio KUNI
enriches their daily lives. They appreciate the program support provided by business
and corporate underwriters.
KUNI - A Unique Opportunity for You
KUNI offers you the opportunity to place the services and/or products of your
business before a discriminating audience. Business announcements may include not only
its name, but also its location and a statement about the products and/or services to more
fully identify the business to the audience. Brand/trade names, a phone number, and
registered slogans may also be included.
KHKE - Your Cultural Connection to the
Cedar Valley
KHKE's weekday programming features classical music
23 hours a day and a 5 a.m. strip of public affairs programming. KHKE is heard
within 60 miles of Waterloo at 89.5 FM and in Mason City-Clear lake at 90.7 FM.

Coverage Map.
